Escalation of Clashes in Aleppo Countryside with "SDF": 452 Martyrs in 40 Days

Violent clashes continue in eastern Aleppo countryside between the "National Army" factions and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with recent events resulting in the deaths of five members of the "National Army" during various battles in the area. Additionally, several SDF fighters were injured due to airstrikes and ground shelling carried out by Turkish forces and their supported factions.
In the details of the clashes, the "National Army" factions launched an attack on the village of Kharbat al-Zamala, located southeast of Manbij city, leading to confrontations with the SDF. As a result of these clashes, two members of the National Army were killed, and five of their military vehicles were damaged due to airstrikes carried out by SDF drone aircraft. Two SDF fighters were also injured in the fighting.
Meanwhile, Turkish aircraft and the weapons of "National Army" factions targeted the Tal Sirtel area surrounding the Tishreen Dam in the eastern countryside of Manbij in Aleppo, with no reports of injuries or losses.
In another front, two members of the "National Army" were killed, and four others were injured after the SDF targeted their military vehicles and gatherings using drones.
In an attempt to gain an advantage over the SDF, members of the "National Army" factions conducted a raid towards the village of Imam near the town of Deir Hafer, resulting in intense clashes that led to the death of one National Army fighter, while two SDF fighters were injured.
Since the fighting began on December 12, 2024, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the deaths of 452 individuals from both sides, including 44 civilians, of whom six were women and two were children, in addition to 333 members of the Turkey-backed factions and 75 members of the SDF and its affiliated military formations.
Reports indicate that recent Turkish attacks reflect an unprecedented escalation in the ground situation, amid growing calls to halt hostilities.
